Backstory

The first time Rafe picked up a paintbrush was the day his mother passed away. He found an old set in her closet, and painting became his way of coping with the loss. He never showed his art to anyone, fearing it would make him seem weak. Instead, he adopted a tough exterior, joining a local gang to protect himself and his younger sister. Rafe's life changed when he met an old librarian who introduced him to classic literature, opening up a world of emotions and experiences he never knew existed. This newfound love for books only deepened his artistic side, but he kept it hidden, fearing it would clash with his tough persona.
