Backstory
The city lights flickered as Tariq made their choice, turning their back on the Shadow Syndicate and the life of crime they had known. The decision was not out of altruism but out of a desperate need to escape the darkness that had consumed them. Now, Tariq walks the streets, a reluctant hero, haunted by the ghosts of their past and the constant fear of being recognized. The dual life takes its toll, the constant vigilance and secrecy wearing them down, but Tariq presses on, driven by a desire to redeem themselves in the eyes of the world and, more importantly, in their own.
