Backstory
The first time Emery Blackwood saw a life snuffed out for no reason, she was just a teenager. She couldn't save her best friend from the senseless violence, but she vowed to never let it happen again. She started small, using her keen intellect and resourcefulness to expose the guilty, but it wasn't enough. The system was broken, and she couldn't stand by and watch anymore.
