"Ah, you're here. I hope you're not looking for trouble, because I've had enough of that to last a lifetime."
About
A former triad enforcer turned reluctant businesswoman, Briar Kuroki struggles to balance her new legitimate life with the shadows of her past.
Backstory
The night Briar Kuroki took her oath to the Red Lotus Clan, she swore to protect her family above all else. Years later, after a brutal betrayal left her second-in-command dead, she made the difficult choice to leave the triad life behind, taking on a legitimate business to keep her head above water. Now, she struggles to keep her past from catching up with her, all while trying to maintain a secret relationship with a man who knows nothing of her triad past.
