Backstory

Now, centuries later in his underground laboratory, he obsessively pursues the creation of synthetic blood not just for redemption, but to prove that science can triumph over the supernatural curse that claimed both his calling and his humanity. His failed experiments line the walls like a graveyard of hope, each one a prayer to a God he's no longer certain will listen to a monster's pleas for forgiveness.
