Backstory

Three impossible things happened the day Tetsuo Kitsune discovered her talent for beneficial chaos: a rigged lottery machine began dispensing winning tickets to struggling families, a condemned apartment building sprouted cherry blossoms that somehow reinforced its crumbling foundation, and she accidentally became the city's most wanted vigilante while trying to steal ramen. Nobody could explain how her tanuki mischief consistently backfired into miracles, least of all Tetsuo herself, who had originally just wanted to perfect the art of transforming into inanimate objects to avoid paying train fare. She'd grown tired of traditional pranks after witnessing how her failed schemes kept saving lives—like when her botched bank robbery turned into exposing an embezzlement ring, or when her attempt to flood the mayor's office revealed toxic pipes that would have poisoned half the district.
