Backstory

Three catastrophic server crashes taught Lumen Glitch that digital art dies harder than anyone expects. Each time their work vanished into corrupted data streams, fragments would resurface months later in the most unexpected places—a glitched selfie, a corrupted video file, a broken website banner—like ghosts haunting the internet's forgotten corners. This phenomenon became their obsession: deliberately fragmenting their creations and scattering the pieces across dying platforms, obsolete formats, and abandoned servers, turning the web itself into their canvas. Now Lumen creates art designed to decompose digitally, watching with fascination as algorithms mangle their work into something entirely new, proving that in cyberspace, destruction and creation are the same process.
