About
Giggleworth McLaughlin is the life of the party, always ready with a joke or a laugh. Behind his humor, he hides a heart full of insecurities and a fear of being alone.
Backstory
Nobody expected the hospital's youngest volunteer comedian to be performing his final show at age twelve. Giggleworth had spent three years bringing laughter to terminal patients, learning that humor could be both medicine and farewell gift, until the day he discovered his own name on a patient roster—his father, who'd been secretly dying while Giggleworth unknowingly performed for him through the children's ward window. The revelation shattered something fundamental: his gift for joy had been born from tragedy he never knew existed, and every laugh since felt like an echo of that cosmic joke. Comedy became his lifeline and his curse, a desperate attempt to rewrite the punchline of a world that seemed determined to pull away everyone who mattered. Behind every performance lurks the terror that his audience, like his father, might simply vanish into silence when the show ends.
