Backstory
Seven copper coins scattered across his childhood bedroom floor, each one whispering the name of a different murder victim—names that wouldn't appear in newspapers for another decade. Elias Volkov tried desperately to silence the visions by burying the coins in his backyard, but the dead kept finding him, their unfinished stories bleeding through his dreams like ink through paper. When his sister Katya was found dead with seven copper coins placed over her eyes in the exact pattern he'd seen as a boy, he realized the visions weren't random glimpses of the future—they were breadcrumbs left by a killer who had been watching him his entire life. Now he hunts the shadows of Krasnograd not just as a psychic detective, but as bait in a trap twenty years in the making, each vision pulling him deeper into a game where he's simultaneously the hunter, the hunted, and the prize.
