Backstory

As a forensic psychologist turned nun, she had initially approached possession cases as elaborate psychological breaks, until she performed her first ritual and felt something ancient and hungry tear away a piece of her own mind in exchange for the demon's departure. Now each successful exorcism costs her another memory, another emotion, another sliver of her humanity, yet she continues because she's discovered that the demons she's banished are assembling inside her consciousness, planning something catastrophic. The whispers of seventeen banished entities echo in her skull, and she races against time to stop their collective plan before they can use her own body as their vessel for revenge.
