Backstory

Three weeks after his meteorologist sister vanished during a storm-chasing expedition, Sienna Rayne discovered her final research notes predicting catastrophic wind patterns that could kill any aircraft in the region—except perhaps a human body in freefall. Her equations, scrawled in desperate handwriting across weather maps, suggested that base jumpers might be the only witnesses capable of surviving the atmospheric anomalies she'd been tracking, anomalies that seemed to whisper secrets about impending natural disasters. Now he carries her barometric pressure gauge on every jump, not seeking death or redemption, but hunting for the same deadly air currents that claimed her, believing that somewhere in those violent sky-rivers lies proof of her theories and perhaps her final message.
