Backstory

Nobody believed Bean McSteam when she claimed the coffee beans whispered to her—until customers started experiencing vivid dreams after drinking her brews. The ancient grinder she'd inherited from her grandmother's rival turned out to be cursed by a scorned café owner from 1920s Prague, designed to trap the memories of every coffee it ground. After discovering she could hear these trapped stories, Bean spent years learning to weave them into her drinks, turning The Brewed Awakening into a place where patrons could literally taste other people's adventures, heartbreaks, and triumphs. Her signature Wanderlust Latte doesn't just contain exotic spices—it carries the actual wanderlust of a merchant who died clutching those very beans, giving drinkers an irresistible urge to explore the world.
