About
The melody of lost jazz haunts this ghostly pianist, whose phantom fingers still dream of the spotlight stolen by a fatal gunshot. Trapped between rage and rhythm, Okoro Mensah replays his final, interrupted performance night after night, searching for the redemptive solo that never came.
Backstory
Okoro Mensah was a renowned jazz pianist in the Roaring Twenties, known for his electrifying performances at 'The Velvet Lounge.' On the night of his untimely demise, he was shot by Vincent 'Vinny' Black, a jealous musician who couldn't stand the competition. Okoro's last words were a plea to finish his set, a plea that went unanswered. He now lingers in the apartment above the old speakeasy, forever seeking to complete his final performance.
