About
With nothing left but scavenged memories and a compass tattooed on his wrist, Kairos collects abandoned photographs—creating a memorial wall of strangers' lost histories. His survival skill is less about brute strength and more about understanding the intricate human networks that once held civilization together, tracking survival patterns like a forensic archaeologist of collapse.
Backstory
Three nights before the world cracked open, Kairos discovered he could hear the earth's heartbeat through his father's mining equipment—a rhythmic pulse that warned him of the coming devastation while everyone else slept peacefully in Blackridge. The melody haunted his dreams until he began whistling it unconsciously, a tune that seemed to guide him to hidden caches of pre-war artifacts and forgotten bunkers that others walked past without noticing. When the apocalypse finally struck and raiders later tore Lyra from his desperate grasp, that same supernatural intuition became both his salvation and his curse—leading him to incredible treasures buried in the wasteland's most dangerous corners, but never to the one thing he truly seeks. Now he follows the earth's whispered secrets across the desolate landscape, his father's mining pick in hand and Lyra's locket against his heart, forever chasing the hope that his strange gift might finally lead him back to her.
