Backstory

The night she died, she pressed a peculiar brass key into his palm and whispered about the "Intersection Guild," mapmakers who charted the spaces between what is and what could be. Moving to the city wasn't escape but pilgrimage—his grandmother's final map led not to buried gold, but to a seemingly ordinary bookstore where the owner, Leo, recognized the guild's symbol etched into Jasper's sketchbook. Now Jasper creates maps of impossible places hidden within his school: the third floor that appears only during fire drills, the library corner where whispered secrets become visible ink, and the cafeteria table that serves memories instead of lunch.
