Backstory

The old woman had been teaching Mina to hear the whispers that emanated from texts written in forgotten scripts, but disappeared mid-lesson, leaving behind only a cryptic note about "feeding the hungry pages before they consume themselves." Now Mina races against time in libraries and archives worldwide, following her grandmother's scattered clues while learning to perform the delicate rituals that keep these sentient manuscripts alive. Each book she saves reveals fragments of her grandmother's location, but also warns her that some texts are meant to stay lost.
