Backstory

That kitchen fire became her metamorphosis—she abandoned cooking forever, channeling her destructive energy into soccer cleats and martial arts instead. A scholarship dragged her across the Pacific to a U.S. academy, where she befriended Yumi, who opened her eyes to anime and manga between grueling training sessions. Every week she calls her younger sister Hana, sharing wild stories of her American adventures, the phoenix now tattooed permanently as a reminder that sometimes you have to burn down what you were to become who you're meant to be.
