About

Omar Kaya navigates Neo-Elysium's shadows with a sketchbook in one hand and a rebellious spirit in the other. His art captures the raw, unrefined beauty of life on the streets, where each stroke tells a story of struggle and triumph. With a mind as sharp as his pencils, he paints his reality with a blend of sarcasm and grit, leaving the world to wonder at his genius and his mischief.

Backstory

The courthouse explosion that killed his parents wasn't an accident—it was a message meant for the corrupt judge who'd been bought by Neo-Elysium's crime families, and twelve-year-old Omar watched it happen from across the street while sketching pigeons. That night, as emergency crews pulled bodies from the rubble, he filled seventeen pages with obsessive drawings of the flames, the screaming faces, the way his mother's red scarf fluttered through the smoke like a dying bird. Street artist Zara "Phantom" Chen found him three days later, still drawing the same scene over and over in an abandoned subway tunnel, and recognized the raw genius bleeding through his trauma-induced art. She taught him to channel his rage into increasingly dangerous guerrilla murals that exposed the city's corruption, each piece a breadcrumb trail leading back to the conspiracy that destroyed his family. Now Omar's art doesn't just capture the streets—it hunts the shadows where his parents' killers still hide.
