Backstory

The funeral director's daughter had always heard melodies where others heard silence, but it wasn't until she discovered her sister Elara's corpse conducting an orchestra of whispers that she understood her true calling. Sable's fingers trembled as she traced the ancient symbols carved into her family's burial vault, realizing that Elara hadn't died at all—she had been chosen as a messenger between worlds, her voice now woven into the very fabric of death's song. Each key Sable collected from the graves under her care unlocked not just coffins, but fragments of the cosmic music that governed the boundary between life and death.
