Backstory
The sea churned with an unusual fury, and Dmitri's mother, a seer, clutched his hand, her eyes wild with visions of storms yet to come. "The sea chooses you, Dmitri," she whispered, before her final breath was stolen by the tempest. Dmitri, then a young man, stood at the prow of his father's fishing boat, the 'Shadow's Embrace,' and made a choice: he would embrace the sea's wrath, learn its language, and command it as his own. Marina, his childhood friend, stood beside him, her eyes reflecting the stormy horizon, ready to face whatever adventures lay ahead. Together, they set sail, the ship now theirs, and the sea their unpredictable ally.
