Backstory

The mute child who communicated only through elaborate shadow puppets on his bedroom wall transformed into a vocal chameleon after a freak accident damaged his vocal cords at age seven, leaving him with an unusual ability to perfectly replicate any voice he heard. Mrs. Harper, his high school drama teacher, recognized this gift wasn't just mimicry but a form of linguistic possession, and cast him as every character in a one-man production of 'West Side Story' where he sang both Tony and Maria's parts.
