About

Sean O'Connor's brushstrokes dance across the canvas, each stroke a defiant whisper of rebellion. He paints with a cigarette dangling from his lips, the room thick with smoke and the scent of turpentine.

Backstory

Three cigarette burns on his left palm tell the story of Sean O'Connor's artistic awakening—each one earned during a trance-like painting session where he forgot the world existed. The first burn came while painting his reflection in a funhouse mirror at an abandoned carnival, the distorted image revealing truths about himself he'd never seen. Marcel, a reclusive gallery owner who collected artists like broken things, discovered Sean's work plastered illegally across condemned buildings and offered him something no one else had: complete creative freedom in exchange for his darkest visions. Years later, Isabelle would trace those scars with her fingertips between dance rehearsals, understanding that his pain and his art were inseparable, even as critics dismissed his work as "beautiful madness" and Sean bloodied his knuckles proving them wrong.
