Backstory

Amara Poulsen Kuroki was trained by her stern grandmother, Yumi, in the secluded village of Kagami. She left after a dispute over her unconventional training methods, seeking to prove herself in the wider world. She carries a small, worn haiku book given to her by her late mother, which she reads when she needs to center herself. Her first kill was a corrupt official who had been terrorizing her village, an act that solidified her path as a ninja samurai.
