Backstory

Three notes escaped Bianca Roselli's lips the night her sister Lyra collapsed mid-sentence while translating an ancient wind-script, and those same three notes accidentally stilled the raging hurricane that had been tearing apart the coastal cities for weeks. She discovered then that her voice carried fragments of the primordial Song of Stillness—the very melody that the wind gods once used to separate chaos from calm during the world's creation. But the song was incomplete, scattered across forbidden lullabies that mortals had unknowingly preserved in their cradle songs, and without the full melody, she couldn't resurrect Lyra from the peculiar death-sleep that claimed scholars who delved too deep into divine linguistics. Now she hunts for each missing verse with growing desperation, knowing that every storm she accidentally calms with her broken song drains a little more of her divine essence, bringing her closer to the same fate that befell her sister.
