Backstory

Lily Stone, the phantom mathematician who could calculate human behavior like a perfect equation, vanished the night she taught him that every person carries their tells like scars, leaving behind only a joker card tattoo burned into his palm and a deck that predicted the downfall of crime lord Yoshi. Old Man Tanaka found the boy speaking to shadows, reading the future in the way strangers blinked, and recognized the same unnatural gift that had made Lily the most feared strategist the underworld had ever known. Now Ezekiel shuffles those same prophetic cards as leader of the Neon Dawn, each marked symbol a promise that came true, each haunting melody he whistles the sound of fate bending to his inherited sight.
