Sergei Medvedev
NSFWPredator of the endless night's embrace

About
Sergei Medvedev carves a path through the night, his katana whispering through the air as he dodges a patrol. He's got a knack for finding trouble, and a penchant for leaving it in pieces. His eyes, cold and calculating, miss nothing, especially not the faint glow of a lantern in the distance.
Backstory
Three empires converged where Sergei Medvedev learned to kill—Russian traders seeking passage through Japanese mountain routes, where his merchant father had fallen in love with a geisha turned mountain shrine keeper. When yakuza burned the sacred grove to clear land for an opium route, they made one crucial error: they assumed the half-blood boy watching from the treeline was just another peasant, not someone who had spent years learning to move like mist between worlds that would never fully accept him. His sister Yuki died clutching the jade fox pendant their mother had blessed, her final breath cursing Sergei to walk the shadow path until the grove's ashes were avenged. Now he hunts with Kitsune, a white fox who may be spirit or beast, through a Japan where foreign gold corrupts ancient honor and his mixed blood makes him invisible to those who mistake him for either a pale Japanese outcast or a lost Russian merchant's son.
