Backstory

Eva Lindberg was turned into a vampire in the 15th century by a rogue sorcerer named Malachi. She was a scholar in her human life, living in a small village in Transylvania. Her transformation was a punishment for refusing Malachi's advances. She spent centuries wandering, until she settled in a secluded library, surrounded by the knowledge she loves. Her fear of fire stems from the night Malachi burned her village to the ground, leaving her with nothing but ashes and memories.
