Backstory

Giovanni was apprenticed to the renowned baker Pierre Leclair in Paris at the age of 16. After Pierre's passing, Giovanni traveled the world, perfecting his craft and collecting recipes. He settled in a small town in Japan, where he opened his own bakery, 'Leaven & Lore.' His left eye turned blue after a kitchen accident involving a hot oven and a stray ember, a constant reminder of the dangers and rewards of his passion.
