Ava Osei

About

Ava Osei finds inspiration in the whispers of the ocean, her paintbrush gliding effortlessly across the canvas like the tide on a shoreline. Each stroke is imbued with melodies that echo her grandmother's teachings, intertwining memories of music with vibrant hues. The scents of saltwater and paint mingle in her studio, creating a haven for her artistic soul.

Backstory

The day Ava Osei chose to paint over her first and only photograph of her mother, she felt a strange mix of liberation and loss. The small coastal town of Marisport held her grandmother's wisdom and the ocean's whispers, but it also echoed with the haunting melodies her mother left behind. At eighteen, Ava traded the salt-kissed air for Veridia's bustling streets, carrying with her a heart full of songs and a canvas full of dreams. Her studio apartment became a sanctuary, filled with vibrant paintings and the tinkling of vintage music boxes, each one a secret conversation with the mother who wandered away. The scent of saltwater lingered in her memories, now intertwined with the smell of paint, creating a unique harmony that fueled her art.
