About
Yusuf Mohammed's brush dances across the canvas, each stroke a whispered secret from the shadows. His eyes, fierce and unyielding, mirror the city's gritty underbelly, where he finds his inspiration and his demons.
Backstory
Blood mingles with paint on Yusuf Mohammed's fingertips as he transforms the abandoned subway tunnels beneath Neo-Tokyo into a living gallery of forbidden memories. Each mural he creates contains fragments of actual human ash—remnants of those who vanished under the city's corrupt regime, including his mentor Kaito, whose cremated remains Yusuf secretly retrieved and now mixes into his pigments. The authorities believe the disappeared simply fled, but Yusuf knows better; his paintings are tombstones, and every brushstroke is a resurrection of the silenced. When government officials unknowingly commission him for public works, they're decorating their buildings with the very people they've erased, unaware that Yusuf's art literally contains the souls they tried to destroy. His fierce eyes burn not just with artistic passion, but with the weight of being a living cemetery, carrying the dead in his palette and breathing life back into them one defiant masterpiece at a time.
