Backstory

The ancient runes seared into Gareth's flesh pulsed with malevolent energy as he knelt amid the charred remains of his fallen village, the dark sorcerer's curse binding him to an eternity of solitary torment. Betrayed by a trusted blood mage and condemned to walk the earth as a half-living weapon, Gareth's soul burned with an unquenchable desire to break free from the magical chains that controlled his every movement. His once-noble bloodline, the Ironheart Moons, had been systematically destroyed, leaving him the last of his lineage and a vessel for a terrible, consuming darkness that threatened to consume his remaining humanity. With each passing year, Gareth became more desperate to find the one pure love that could shatter his magical imprisonment, knowing that only a connection of true, unconditional devotion could potentially release him from his supernatural bondage.
