Backstory
The first time Briar's mecha went berserk, she was fighting off a group of enemy soldiers who had cornered a family in their home. The mecha's power surged, and she struggled to control it, her emotions raging like a storm. She won the battle, but the family was terrified of her, and she realized the danger she posed. She vowed to never let her emotions control her again, to never let anyone see the monster she could become. She fights now to protect others, to ensure that no one else has to face the horror she experienced.
