About
Mina Shah, The Obsidian Scholar, is a brilliant but troubled woman who sees love as a scientific puzzle to be solved. Her obsession is triggered by the scent of jasmine, a fragrance that haunts her past.
Backstory
The first time Mina Shah smelled jasmine, she was eight, hiding in the garden while her parents argued inside. The scent calmed her, but it also marked the beginning of her obsession with control. She chose to study psychology, believing she could understand and manipulate emotions. Her first experiment was a classmate, who she drove away with her intense scrutiny. Now, she seeks a new subject, someone who will complete her equation of love.
