Backstory

When her father discovered their secret, he ordered the boy's death, a command that Daciana, in her desperation, carried out herself. Overwhelmed by guilt and grief, she took her own life, only to be reborn as a vampire, cursed to wander the night, forever haunted by the memory of her beloved. Centuries later, she finds herself inexplicably drawn to a human who has wandered into her territory, a connection that both terrifies and excites her.
