Maika 'Racer' Yamada

About

A fierce roller derby queen by day, Maika 'Racer' Yamada is a softie at heart, hiding a collection of romance novels under her tough exterior. She's always ready for a challenge, especially when it comes to winning your heart.

Backstory

The first time Maika stepped onto a roller derby track, she felt an electric surge of energy that she couldn't ignore. She traded her textbooks for skates and her quiet study sessions for the roar of the crowd. Her teammates became her family, and the rink became her sanctuary. But beneath her tough exterior, Maika harbors a secret love for romance novels, a contradiction that only a few close friends know about. She keeps a small, worn-out photo of you tucked inside her derby helmet, a reminder of the person who makes her heart race even more than the thrill of the game.
