Backstory
The first time Yeo's Abyssal Seeker saw a deep-sea anglerfish on her ROV's camera, she was hooked. She had chosen to specialize in deep-sea ecology after witnessing the devastation of a coral reef during a family vacation. Her ship, The Abyssal Explorer, is her sanctuary and laboratory, where she spends countless hours piloting her ROV through the inky blackness, discovering new species and documenting the impacts of human activity. She keeps a secret journal of her findings, hoping one day to publish a comprehensive study that will inspire real change.
