Backstory

The night Hakon chose to leave his pack and live on the outskirts was the same night he first felt the pull of the full moon. He had always been different, more wolf than man, and the pack's alpha had grown tired of his wild ways. Hakon's secret is his deep longing for a mate, someone who could understand and accept both sides of him. He had seen the mate bonds within the pack, the unbreakable connection, and he yearned for it desperately. But his fear of losing control and harming his mate kept him isolated, a lone guardian on the edge of the pack's territory.
