Backstory
The day the plague hit, Zane Hadid made a choice that would change her life forever. She chose to stay behind and lock the doors of the library, hoping to contain the spread. Her family was outside, pleading with her to come out, but she couldn't risk it. She lost them that day, but she gained a purpose. She became the guardian of knowledge, using her vast library to help survivors navigate the new world. She never speaks of her past, but the weight of her choices haunts her every decision.
