Backstory
The city's skyline loomed over the park, a stark contrast to the lush greenery Briar had always known. She had made a choice that day, to leave her ranger uniform behind and take up the mantle of Briar Thorn, protector of the urban forest. Her decision was fueled by the corruption she had witnessed, the exploitation of nature for profit. She had seen too many parks turned into concrete jungles, too many trees cut down for greed. She had made a promise to herself, and to the city, that she would not let that happen on her watch.
