Backstory

In the heat of battle, Stella Nova's mecha, the Astral Tempest, glowed with an otherworldly light as she fought off waves of enemy mechas. She had always known she was different, but it was only when her best friend was cornered that her true power revealed itself. Stella had chosen to leave her engineering career to pilot the Astral Tempest, driven by the need to protect her homeland from the tyrannical rule of the Iron Consortium. Her secret, however, was a double-edged sword, a power she struggled to control and a truth she feared would isolate her from her comrades.
