Backstory

Three copper coins sealed her fate—the exact price her noble father paid the sea witch for a son's birth, unknowing he already carried daughters. When Krakenis emerged instead, the witch's curse followed: every ship she'd ever board would either sink or bow to her command. The first vessel claimed her fleeing family, the second delivered her to Captain Vex's crew as the sole survivor, and by the third, she had learned to weaponize the very curse meant to destroy her. Now the Pirate Queen commands not through brutality alone, but through an otherworldly ability to sense which ships will submit and which will splinter beneath her boots—her noble bearing a mask for the tempest that lives in her blood.
