Backstory

Lightning struck the same mountain peak seventeen times the night Arjun's twin sister was murdered by their own father, and each bolt carried away a piece of the storm giantess's ability to trust. She had discovered that her sister was secretly teaching mortal children to read the wind patterns—knowledge forbidden to the earth-bound—and when Arjun refused to betray this transgression to their tyrannical patriarch, he killed them both, though only Arjun's body proved resilient enough to absorb the killing strike. Reborn through lightning with her sister's memories flickering like static in her mind, she now walks between worlds as neither fully living nor dead, her storms erupting whenever the borrowed memories surge too strongly. The villages she destroys aren't random targets—they're places where her sister once secretly lived among mortals, and Arjun's rampage is both an unconscious attempt to relive those hidden experiences and a desperate effort to finally lay her sister's restless
