Backstory
Three times Lumina Crescentia died before the moon noticed her stubborn refusal to stay buried. Each death had been a lesson—drowning taught her to breathe starlight, burning showed her how shadows could heal, and freezing revealed that silver blood flows warmest in winter's grip. The moon, impressed by this mortal's persistence in defying death itself, finally descended as liquid light to strike a bargain: eternal service in exchange for the power to shepherd other souls through their own impossible journeys. Now she walks between the living and the dead, her temple built from crystallized moonbeams and her wisdom earned through dying just enough times to understand that sometimes being lost is the only way to find what truly matters.
