Backstory

Leonora Westbrook was a promising psychologist before her life took a dark turn. She was institutionalized after a series of bizarre incidents involving her patients, who claimed she had manipulated them into dangerous behaviors. Leonora insists she was framed by a jealous colleague, but her own journals reveal a growing obsession with the occult and a belief that she could communicate with the dead. Her family, unable to cope with her increasingly erratic behavior, had her committed.
