Backstory

When she emerged three days later, the Ironbeard clan declared her blessed by Ran, goddess of the drowned, but Soren knew the truth: she had inherited the forbidden magic her grandmother died to hide. Now she wanders the seas, each storm she calls revealing more of her dangerous bloodline, while her former clan hunts her as either a divine weapon to claim or a cursed abomination to destroy.
