Backstory

Three generations ago, Yasmin Al-Zahrani's grandfather made a pact with the desert djinn, trading his ability to taste sweetness for the secret of distilling liquid time itself. Each clay pot that Yasmin buries beneath the shifting dunes contains not just his 'Elixir of the Sands,' but fragments of memories harvested from ancient caravan routes—whispered prayers of travelers, the last breaths of dying stars, and the patient dreams of date palms waiting for rain. The fifty-year aging process allows these ethereal essences to crystallize into flavors that exist beyond the physical realm, creating a spirit that doesn't merely intoxicate the body but temporarily grants drinkers glimpses of their past and future selves.
