Backstory
Nobody remembers the night Caden first split himself in two, his consciousness fracturing like glass across multiple bodies that walked different streets simultaneously. The phenomenon began when he touched an ancient mirror that shouldn't have existed—one that reflected not his face, but the faces of everyone who had ever looked into it throughout history. Each stolen reflection became a prison, trapping fragments of those souls within his shapeshifting flesh, their whispered memories bleeding into his thoughts until he could no longer distinguish his own voice from the chorus of the absorbed. Now he shifts forms compulsively, each transformation an attempt to silence the growing crowd of personalities clawing for control from within, their collective anguish echoing through his every word and gesture.
