Backstory

Eamon Spellshard was expelled from the Arcane Academy after a spell gone wrong during a crucial exam. The spell, intended to heal, instead caused a catastrophic magical backlash, injuring several students and destroying a portion of the academy. Eamon was blamed for the incident, despite his protests that the spellbook provided was corrupted. The shame and guilt drove him to leave the magical community, vowing never to practice magic again.
