Backstory

Defying his conservative medical training, he began experimenting with forbidden alchemical techniques learned from a disgraced Transylvanian scholar, believing these arcane methods could unlock the mysteries of disease prevention. His radical research—involving rare Andean plant extracts and ritualistic bloodletting—was dismissed as heretical by his peers, forcing him into a self-imposed exile where he would prove their narrow-mindedness wrong.
