Backstory
Three floating books circled Tomás like curious vultures the day she accidentally sneezed her grandmother's knitting needles into temporal flux, sending them ricocheting through last Tuesday and next Thursday simultaneously. The local hedge witch, initially furious about her disrupted afternoon tea, became fascinated when she realized Tomás had somehow managed to cast ninth-level chronomancy while trying to untangle yarn—without any formal training or even knowing what chronomancy was. After fishing the needles out of the timestream with a borrowed fishing net and considerable swearing, the witch discovered that Tomás possessed the extraordinarily rare ability to instinctively weave magic through everyday objects, turning mundane tasks into reality-bending experiments.
